There are times when we feel forgotten, times when we feel like God has neglected us.
But, the Gospel reminds us that God remembers us for He is merciful.
“He has helped Israel His servant, remembering His mercy.” — Luke 1:54
No matter what we are going through, God can take away our affliction. Like the friend asking for bread at midnight, we should pray, ask, and hope unceasingly — with persistence and perseverance. (Luke 11:5-8)
When He comes, will He find such faith from us?
P.S. Yet, when we do not receive what we are asking for, we have to surrender and trust that God has a purpose for it, no matter how difficult it may be to comprehend right now. For His ways are higher than our ways.
