Honoring the gift you have received

Let us live our lives honoring the gift we have received from Jesus by living our lives with passion, with purpose, with meaning.

Are you complaining right now? Or living without passion or purpose? Are you sleepwalking through life or wasting your life chasing every temporary high? Are you dwelling in self-pity?

As we knock on the door of the Holy Week, the Gospel reminds us of the greatest gift that we have ever received: the life of our Savior Jesus Christ.

“[The high priest Caiaphas] prophesied that Jesus was going to die for the nation.” — John 11:51

Yes, we have received the gift of Jesus. He died for us. He offered His own life for us so that we can live, not only in this life but, more importantly, in eternity with the Father. So, why should we waste our lives complaining, dwelling in self-pity, sleepwalking, or living without purpose or meaning?

The best way to honor and to be grateful for the gift we have received is to properly use that gift.

Let us live our lives honoring the gift we have received from Jesus by living our lives with passion, with purpose, with meaning.

Let us live our lives with joy and with love for God and our neighbors.
