Not everyone can understand what you’re doing, what you’re pursuing.
Do it anyway.
What matters is that it matters — to you and to the right people. What matters is that you’re doing God’s will for your life.
You can’t please everyone. Others may even criticize you or go as far as digging some dirt up on you.
Sometimes, it can even be your family who will not believe in you.
Keep at it anyway.
In today’s Gospel reading, the scribes accused Jesus that He was possessed by an unclean sprit. Some Bible scholars also believe that even His own family was worried that He was going crazy.
“The scribes who had come from Jerusalem said, ‘He is possessed by Beelzebul,’ and ‘By the prince of demons he drives out demons.’” — Mark 3:22
“His mother and his brothers arrived. Standing outside they sent word to him and called him. A crowd seated around him told him, ‘Your mother and your brothers [and your sisters] are outside asking for you.’” — Mark 3:31-32
Yet, Jesus kept at it. He did what was needed to be done.
And the right people, not everyone, followed Him.
Keep at it. Find the right people.
