It doesn’t last forever. Nothing does.
Your job will not always be there. There’s no such thing as job security. Your days in the company will end when you’re at the retiring age, when the company downsizes, or when you find a better job, whichever comes first.
Your business will not always enjoy the growth and the profit you’re experiencing right now. Just ask the GrabCar drivers (who, by the way, inspired me to write this post). They’re no longer earning as much as they were two, three months ago.
Your strength will not last forever. So will your youth. The day will come when you won’t have as much energy.
Even the people around you will not always be there. Some will go places to pursue their dreams, while some will go places way beyond this earthly realm.
Nothing lasts forever.
It’s okay to plan, but don’t live life always planning ahead. Don’t live in your plans. Enjoy what is.
Enjoy it while it lasts, whatever it means to you.
Or better yet, make the most of it while it lasts. Make every single moment count.
