How Far Have We Fallen?

Every Sunday, I take a break from writing about WorkLife, and Changing the World. Instead, I write about my imperfect understanding of God’s perfect love as my personal mission to spread His word and His love and to make a difference. You can read more Mission posts here.

How far have we fallen from God, from love, from grace, and from joy because of our failures?

How far have we fallen because of discouragement and disappointments?

How far have we fallen because of our habitual sins and our addictions?

How far have have fallen because of our struggles and hardships?

How far have we fallen because our frustrations and insecurities?

I have fallen so far from God especially for the past few weeks.

I felt discouraged again and I have fallen back to my addictions.

Yet, God's love never fails. He never tires of running after us. He never tires of loving us, forgiving us, and blessing us... no matter how far we have fallen from Him. He never tires of comforting us because of the same discouragements and disappointments.

Today, I just want to thank God for not giving up on me.

He trusts that I can get through all my trials. I should begin trusting myself more.

And so, I can move forward once again—with rekindled fire, greater purpose, more courage, and God's unfailing love.

Thank You, bless You, and praise You, Father.

"So now bless the Lord on earth and give thanks to God. Look, I am ascending to the one who sent me. Write down all that has happened to you.” And he ascended." — Tobit 12:20
