I will probably never be as influential as my heroes like Bro. Bo Sanchez or Seth Godin. I may not be able to write books, let alone become a best-selling author.
I will probably not become a billionaire, or a celebrity. (Although, it's not really a dream of mine.)
And I may not be able to touch the lives of millions, even billions of people, like the saints, or like Jesus Himself.
Compared to all of them, all I have is a little light. A light that can probably only illuminate a handful of people (already including my family). A light that will always outshone by another light.
But, with my little light, I may be able to illuminate a handful of people. I may be able to touch the lives of a few, especially of those around me — my parents', my siblings', my wife's, and my family's, and my friends'.
Like with yesterday's post, it's not about how much our light shines, but whether or not we are willing to share it.
As one song goes, "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine."
Let's keep shining.
