I’m just one in more than seven billion people in the world. I don’t have the power or the influence to change the lives of many. To so many people, I am insignificant.
But, to my wife, my family, and my friends, I am one of a kind. Among more than seven billion people in the world, I am the only one who can impact or touch their lives the way that I do. In that way, I am significant.
To them, I am significant.
Remembering what St. Teresa of Calcutta once said:
“Not all of us can do great things. But, we can do small things with great love.”
You are significant. Especially to the people who love you. You don’t have to look far. They’re just around you.
P.S. Let’s not waste time doing significant things for the people significant to us. Share this to someone who makes you feel significant (and for whom you do significant things).
P.P.S. To my Lord, my wife, my family, my friends, and all the people who make me feel significant, thank you. This one’s for you.
