... is just noise. It's probably just another complaint about something one has no control over. So, why bother?
Apparently, being opinionated makes you sound smarter. It helps you gain the approval of others if your opinion is in their favor. If not, then expect an opposing opinion.
It also makes you sound as if you care. But, if you truly care, why don't you just help the person beside you? At the very least, your action is under your control.
Being opinionated feels good. When people agree with you, it lifts up the ego. If not, it hurts the ego. Then, it will lead to an argument rooted in pride. In the end, nobody really wins.
An opinion that doesn't lead to action or one that doesn't build someone up is just noise. And there's already too much noise out there.
But, if an opinion presents a healthy solution to a problem, then it’s worth saying. If an opinion builds someone up, it’s great to say it out loud. Otherwise, why don’t you just keep it to yourself?
Instead of speaking, why don't we just act on what we can do today? The world might just be a lot better (and quieter) place.
But, these are just my opinion.
