Yesterday, my brother and I ate Korean spicy noodles. Spicy is an understatement. While eating the spicy noodles, my tongue and lips were like on fire and I kept drinking cold water and milk tea.
After eating only a small portion of the spicy noodles, I got full because of all the water and milk tea I drank. I also got dizzy and was on the verge of vomiting everything I ate (and drank). I felt so sick that I lied down and slept for almost three hours.
While the next three hours of eating spicy noodles were not fun (at least for me), overall, it was a memorable experience. My brother and I shared some laughs while eating. And he also laughed at me while I was lying in bed and after I woke up. I may forget the details, but I probably will never forget how good I felt and how hard I laughed.
Laughter, as they say, is the best medicine. It relieves us from stress and takes some of the seriousness of life away. It’s even more special when shared with special people in our lives.
