Sunday Reflection: How Will Your Story End?

I started the year on an absolute high. I was on fire!

I wrote 1,000 words a day, started working on a new free guide, started a daily gratitude campaign on Facebook and Instagram, and gathered stories for the World Changer Interviews.

But as January was coming to a close, old bad habits came creeping back in.

I stopped writing everyday, stopped working on the free guide, stopped posting things I’m grateful about every day, and stopped gathering stories.

Then, I felt bad about myself again, lost some confidence, lost a lot of momentum, and lost a bit of hope in how I want my life’s story to end.

I thought, “Will my story end without me achieving my dreams?”

As I reflected these past few days, God, one way or another, reminded me that my story will not end in defeat. It will not end in misery. It will not end in failure.

Why? Because He is my story.

Right now, I’m experiencing my passion, my crucifixion, and my black Friday. But, my story doesn’t end here. It will end in my resurrection and my ascension. My Easter Sunday is coming.

My story will end in success, in joy and happiness, in victory, and in my dreams coming to fruition.

Because He is my story.

How about you? Are you also in a slump? Are you feeling down and out? Are you feeling defeated already? Are you already losing hope?

Learn to trust in the greatness of your story once again. Rekindle your fire. Believe that your story will end with you victorious.

“Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 NAB
