I’ve been reading a lot of things lately on how to make it as an artist or as a writer.
Well, I’ve been reading a lot of things on how to succeed, regardless of what you’re doing.
Here’s the most common answer of the people who have made it:
Their victory lies in the effort. Not the results.
We often measure success based on how much we’re earning or making. But, how much effort are we really putting into the work that we do? How much difference does our work really making? Are we really adding value?
Are you really enjoying the work that you do? Are you putting all your heart into it? Are you getting lost in what you’re doing?
Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment, full effort is full victory. — Mahatma Gandhi
The reward of doing work that matters is the work itself.
P.S. Oh no! Deadpool has broken the fourth wall! He has now invaded my blog! What makes my blog fun for me is that I'm free to draw anything. So, take the advice of my two-minute illustration of Deadpool: Give it your maximum effort!
