“Jesus said, ‘It is finished.’ And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit.” — John 19:30
Starting last month, every time I look at the cross, I always feel as if Jesus is telling me, “You are worth it.”
Today, as we celebrate the memorial of how Jesus Christ died for us, I know Jesus wants to tell you, “You are worth it.”
You are worth all the pain He went through.
You are worth the insults, the scourging, the crowning with thorns, the crucifixion, and even His death on the cross.
No matter how far you feel you have fallen away from God, no matter how deep you have sunk into your sins, no matter how hopeless you feel you are to be saved by Christ, always remember that you are worth it.
God loves you no matter what you have done.
He loves you even before you do anything.
Before He formed you in the womb, He knew you. That’s how special you are.
You don’t have to prove anything to God, let alone to us.
You just need to accept His saving grace.
God loves you so much. Love yourself as well.
You are worth loving. You are worth dying for.
Today is about Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. (Everyday is.) But, today is also about you. Because you are worth it.
