The first is the result beneficial to you: the audience or the followers you gain, the financial reward, the sale, the recognition, and the authority given to you.
The second is the result beneficial to others: the impact you cause in someone else's life, the difference you make, the encouragement you give, the lesson someone learns from you, and the contribution that make the world a better place.
We often strive for the first kind. But, more often, this kind is out of our control.
The second kind, on the other hand, is not entirely beyond our control. You can deliberately do work or create art for the benefit of others.
Also, when you strive for the second kind of results instead, the first one usually follows.
God always finds a way to repay generosity.
