Whenever You Feel Like Giving Up

... ask yourself these questions:

What if I give up?

What's the worst case scenario?

Would I like where I'd be in case I give up?

What would I lose—permanently? Am I really prepared to lose it?

What if I don't give up?

What's the best case scenario?

Where would I be?

What are the possibilities? What would I gain?

Most of the time, the worst case scenario is not so bad after all. There's always a lot of room to recover from it—and a lot of things to learn. No, the worst case scenario is usually not a matter of life and death. And it doesn't happen often.

The best case scenario is more likely to happen. Even when it doesn't, what usually happens is a lot closer to the best case than the worst.

Will you still give up?
